A cube is divided by a sliver of empty space into two neat rectangles filled with feathers. At the center of the empty space, a tiny isolated feather connects the two blocks — or is it keeping them apart?

A cube is divided diagonally, its top half filled by a mass of weightless feathers that seem to have been drawn upward, except for one or two that have drifted away and float in the space below.
